Brand: Adidas Originals
Colourway: Turquoise / Orange / Black
Available: July 2012
When it comes to sneakers, Adidas aren’t amongst my favourite brands. Nonetheless, these ZX800’s have really caught my eye whilst scanning the “coming soon” section on http://www.size.co.uk. The turquoise / orange / black colourway in this particular example is pretty brash and in your face, but I absolutely love it.
The ZX8000 was originally (no pun intended) released in 1988. The shoe has a nylon and suede upper, and as you will come to find, I love the use of suede on sneakers. It’s a really high quailty material which I love to rock on my kicks, even if it’s a tad delicate and vulnerable to damage. “DON’T TREAD ON MY SHOES!” The variation in material and colour combinations come together seemlessly to create a really fresh shoe, ideal for the summer season. And to round it all off, they look comfy as hell.
These beaut’s should be hitting the shops later this month, I’m expecting an RRP price of around £80-100. Quite an investment, but quite a sneaker.
