Model: X Sneaker Freaker Grid 9000
Colourway: Black / Mint / Beige
I’ll be honest, I hadn’t heard of Saucony til I saw a guy at university rocking a pair a few months back. I can’t remember the actual pair, but they caught my eye instantly. I was doing my best to try and subtly catch a glimpse of the brand name his shoes, without it looking weird. Anyway, they’ve dropped an absolute bomb with this latest take on their Grid 9000, i’ll let the picture do the talking.
The colourway is so dope with these, so neutral, yet so sick. The splatter look on the midsole looks sweet, looks a bit like a mcflurry… yum. Nicknamed the “Bushwacker”, this shoe was produced with the collaboration of Sneaker Freaker, an Australian based sneaker magazine; as part of their 10th anniversary celebration. Leather, suede *drools*, and mesh are all adapted into this shoe, along with an unusual (yet awesome) choice of elastic bungee material for the laces.
These look the business, and I want them on my feet immediately! Unfortunately, at a price tag of around $150 (that’s Aussie dollars btw), they’ll set you back a fair bit too.
